PRODUCTS

Wisconsin Woodchuck is offering reclaimed wood from our current project, which entails dismantling an 1880s waterfront grain elevator in Superior, Wisconsin. (Click on any image to see larger view.)

Beams

We have approximately 2500 old-growth beams, ranging in size from 6"x6" to 12"x14" in assorted lengths. Most of the beams are White Pine. Call for current price.

Dimension lumber

We have available approximately 1.5 million board feet of antique white pine, all from weather-protected grain bins. Dimensions include 2x6, 2x8, and 2x10 (true dimensions) in lengths from 4 to 22 feet. Call for current price. For consumer-ready products such as flooring and paneling, see our subsidiary, Old Globe Reclaimed Wood.

Grain-Polished Wall Sections

A significant number of the wall sections display beautiful patterns resulting from many years of being polished or "eroded" by grain pouring into the bins. These driftwood-like sections are popular items among craftsmen who use them in fireplace surrounds, mantels, and accent furniture pieces.

Architectural Pieces

We have many architectural pieces. Oak-pegged mortise-and-tenon joints are common. Intact post-and-beam sets up to 36 feet across are available. Some beam faces that were inside the grain bins show very nice wear patterns. Numerous beams have an "industrial" look. Price is negotiable.
